58 hoteles cuentan con certificación Green Key, que refleja la conformidad con un amplio conjunto de criterios de sostenibilidad para hoteles (participación del personal, gestión ambiental, información que se entrega al huésped, entre otros criterios), establecidos por la Fundación para la Educación Ambiental (FEE).

Los hoteles AC Hotel Veracruz, AC Hotel Querétaro, Courtyard Toreo, Fiesta Americana Viaducto Aeropuerto y Fiesta Americana Satélite cuentan con certificación EDGE (Excellence in Design for Greater Efficiencies).

Most of the hotels have the certificate in Environmental Tourism Quality, granted by PROFEPA (Federal Attorney for Environmental Protection) in recognition of the decrease in waste, discharges and emissions, as well as the consumption of electricity, fuels and Water.

The Fiesta Americana Monterrey Pabellón M, Fiesta Inn Periférico Sur and Fiesta Inn Tlalnepantla hotels have been distinguished as Hidro Sustentables Hotels for the efficient use of water.

The Fiesta Americana Condesa Cancún hotel has the Blue Flag certification, which represents a commitment to the users of the beaches and the environment.

FibraHotel´s corporate offices, Live Aqua San Miguel de Allende hotel and Fiesta Americana Hacienda Galindo Hotel achieve LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Gold certification, because of efficiency and sustainability actions.
